Hello! I'm Melynda Butler, owner and photographer of Prestige Images, I was born and raised in the North Huntingdon area; a graduate of Norwin High School and current resident of Irwin. I have been photographing newborns, children, couples and weddings since 2011. I have recently decided to bring my creativity and love for photography to the North Huntingdon area, by opening a studio located on Main Street, in downtown Irwin in 2016.
I have a strong desire to bring you creative and unique scenes that will set my work aside from anyone else in the area. I feel compelled to make your session different and personalized to your special occasion. You will see some scenes and props that no one in the area can offer. It has be come almost an obsession of mine! I would love to collaborate and create the perfect scene with you!
My experience in the last 9 years and photography education will give you the result of prestige, crisp, beautiful photos and most importantly, an enjoyable experience. As a mother of three, I have a great understanding for what most are looking for in their photographs as well as the patience for those camera shy children. In 2018, Prestige Images was a Bronze award winner for the Tribune Review's Readers' Choice Awards in Westmoreland County for Best Photographer (article here: https://readerschoice.triblive.com/westmoreland/). Prestige Images' photos have been published in several magazines such as The Lensational Magazine and The Ardent Lens Magazine.
My sessions are fun for both the parents and children. I have made some pretty amazing friendships with my clients and their children. Most of my little clients greet me with hugs or depart with a enthusiastic high-five! Picture day does not need to be stressful!
